new owners take over next april 2011.................
younger owners with new and fresh ideas will keep "the shop" alive and well.
jackie and i have been here for 15 years.
we are not leaving stillwater but rather expanding northern lights B+B to include horseback riding, a riding arena, a day spa, 4 more suites and other amenities.
northern lights B+B and the stillwater shop will be co-marketing the stillwater reservoir and beaver river station with the help from the nooridgewock lodge.
there's also talk of starting up a "air sevice" from old forge to stillwater to over come the "dirt road" issues for our day spa clients.
additionally there's conversation about restoring the "little rapids" airport
that the gossling family owns.
tearing up most of the adirondack scenic railroad tracks would be very helpful to the local economies that are located within this valuable cooridor.
rails to trails have been very popular in this country as of late. plenty of studies show increased revenues where this has taken place.
