Frank and Jackie Rudolph purchased The Stillwater Shop in November 1996 from Jean Jenkins whose family founded and ran the business for 40+ years. Located at the Stillwater Reservoir boat launch site, the Stillwater Shop caters to the outdoor enthusiast year round.

The store and building have been completely renovated over the past four years with several stages of construction beginning with a new modern gas station and ending with an expanded store/gift shop.

The store now boasts a refurbished 1947 dairy bar which serves up hand dipped ice cream treats from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The gift shop features an array of gifts and souvenirs following the Adirondack theme.

The store offers:

  • Fishing and camping supplies
  • NYS licences
  • Maps
  • Groceries
  • Ice
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Parts and oil

Our proudest addition to Stillwater is our son,
Tyler who joined the family business this past April.

If you haven't been to Stillwater,
you need to take the time to come up.
You'll be rewarded at the end of your scenic drive
with the arrival at one of the most beautiful
and remote places in the Adirondacks.

It's all here waiting for you!
